The GridSmart HWC AI Module has been designed to work with cylinders that are:
Single elements under 4kW
Installed up to code
Any capacity (litres)
Under 15 years of age
Copper piping (inlet or outlet)
The AI Module should not be installed on:
Cylinders with alternative heat sources, including:
Wet backs/fireplaces;
Solar with DC elements; and
Heat pumps
Dual element cylinders, simultaneous and non-simultaneous
Hot water heat pumps
Gas storage cylinders
